about

As a Cuban immigrant and an artist interested culture, ecology , and humanity, I have always wanted the political wall erected by both Cuba and the US to fall. In this song I have built a musical bridge , longer than 90 miles, from Key West to Havana. Come and dance on the bridge.

lyrics

Puente A Mi Gente

Coro 1
un puente a mi gente
Coro 2
Baila y goza en el puente

Bridge To My People
If I could build a bridge
of spirit and heart
It would be longer than 90 miles
and simple in construction

The Base would be help to the brother
with a desire to breathe
the pure and invigorating air
of an ocean at liberty

I would add bricks of humor
which is ours naturally
and in excess there and here
at the end of a work day
Id serve a plate of congri

And when the moment arrives
to make the anticipated connection
We’d pave a road of Clave
From coast to coast a Son
